QUARTIER ST-ÉLIE
Serving the community
(Freeway 10/Highway 222)
Phase 1
Phase 1 of the Quartier St-Élie project was completed last December 18 in Sherbrooke. The new Quartier St-Élie now has a Shell station adorning the latest corporate image of the company and two carwashes. Motorists are much better served, especially now that they can enjoy the first G5-brand carwash in the Eastern Townships – known as an efficient and environmentally-friendly unit thanks to its low water consumption – plus a manual carwash.
A Boni-Soir cornerstore and a Tim Horton's are bringing new services to the community.
This first phase demonstrates the genuine aspiration of Groupe Laroche Estrie to not only advantageously position its rental space offer on the green-solution market, but to alleviate the shortage of services currently facing this sector in an area undergoing a strong increase in population.
Phase 2
Phase 2 of the Quartier St-Élie project is now in preparation. The creation of an 85,000-square-foot mall is concrete evidence that the Groupe Laroche Estrie and its local partners are working hard to revitalize this sector of the city of St-Élie.
Agreements with various retailers are also underway in order to offer local residents a wide range of services such as shops, bakery, butcher's shop, pastry shop, drugstore, greengrocery, liquor store, etc.
Completion of Phase 2 of the Quartier St-Élie project is scheduled for summer 2010. A third phase is also planned for 2011.
