Building differently

The Sherbrooke area will be host to a new commercial project signed Groupe Laroche Estrie. Starting from summer 2010, Groupe Laroche Estrie plans to implement a commercial real estate complex at a stone's throw from the Université de Sherbrooke. Contemporary in style, Quartier Université will be built using sustainable and ecological materials to ensure its proper integration with its natural surroundings.

The construction of a shopping mall combining architectural flair and environmental friendliness will contribute to the revival of this sector of the city of Sherbrooke.

Like the Quartier St-Élie project, Quartier Université is designed and structured to meet the current needs and concerns of a growing and aware population. Its community shopping centre design lets residents cut down on their commute and gives them access to a multitude of services and specialty shops without having to drive.

Over 25,000 square feet of rental space will be available to accommodate small and medium-sized service businesses.
